BEST Program Application

Eligibility Requirements

BEST program focuses on identity-based health disparities research. To be able to apply to the BEST program, you must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

1. Currently enrolled in the University of California Irvine PhD Program in either: Biomedical Engineering (BME), Health, Society, and Behavior (HSB) Program in Public Health, or the Psychological Science (PsySci) Program in the School of Social Ecology.
2. Have committed to a primary research advisor for your PhD program.
3. Have completed your first year of your PhD program.
